Tori, a Texas Native, was born and raised in Midlothian-a suburb of Dallas.  After graduating from Midlothian High School, Tori attended college at Texas A&M University-Commerce where she completed her Bachelors of Science in History in 2015 and her Masters degree in History the following year.  While working on her studies, Tori began training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as a new way to workout and spend time with her family. Naturally competitive, Tori quickly fell in love with the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu's unique challenges that include athleticism but also logistics.  Tori competed a total of thirteen times as a white belt and even traveled to the Pan American tournament.
